Christmas Cards and Matching Gift Tags

It's been a while since my last post...it's a very busy time of year for work and difficult to find time to scrap AND post my creations.

I've been working on these Card/Gift Tag Sets for my work Christmas Party as gifts for my Team. I made six of each card and gift tag that will go in a little brown paper bag (soon to be decorated as well). I have a total of 10 to make...3 down, 7 left to go!

Plantin Schoolbok, Straight from the Nest and Cuttlebug were used for the cards and tags. My inspiration came from PAPER CRAFTS Presents Holiday Cards & More 2010 Issue (great magazine).

Help with Linking Photos to the CC MB

Hope this helps!

You have to have a place to upload your photos (other than CC MB)....Photobucket ...a Blog...etc.
Don't feel intimated by the blog option...you do not have to advertise the blog or feel obligated to keep the comments up to date.
It can simply be your spot for uploading your artwork and making it “viewable” on the CC MB!

If you get the message above - right click and select..."Allow"....

Hurricane Earl...The Hurricane that Wasn't

After strapping all the deck furniture down, purchasing lots of water, pots to cook on the barbecue, batteries, canned goods, the list goes on...Hurricane Earl was no more than some much needed rain (not much at that) and minimal winds!

Turtle Card and Bookmarks

For the very, FIRST time ever...one of my kids asked me to make something ;-)

This is for my DS girlfriend. She loves turtles!

There is a notecard, 4 mini bookmarks that are "magnetized" and 3 larger bookmarks with paperclips to hold your place.

Hope she likes them (and he gets a chance to give them to her before someone show her this site ;-))

Kaisercraft Advent Calendar

Finally! I originally saw these in a scrapbook magazine...and wanted one ever since! We dropped our daughter off at camp in Nova Scotia and a Camera/Scrapbook store had them in stock...YAY!!!

Since no directions come with the product...I must thank Jen at the following blog as her posts were very helpful in accomplishing this Advent Calendar. Thanks, Jen! http://jenink.blogspot.com/2009/10/kaisercraft-advent-calendar-part-1.html

Create a Critter Card Set

I am so glad it is a long weekend and I have some extra time to make lots of cards! Here's another card set using Create a Critter - I love this cartridge!

French Manor Card Set

I received my Cricut Circle package this week! My daughter knew I was waiting so anxiously for it that when it arrived, she took a pic with her cell phone and sent the pic to me at work! I'm pretty excited about all the use I will get out of the French Manor cartridge; my children attend French school and my daughter is travelling to France next year. I had a chance to work with the cartridge today and WOW...I'm impressed with all the features on it. Here is a card set I made - these are always great to give as a gift or use individually. The sentiments from left to right are: "You're The Best", "Just for You", "Thank You" and "Celebrate".

Everyday Cards

I love to make cards! It always seems that I am making them "reactively" instead of being proactive and having a bunch on hand so...the last couple of weeks, I started making a bunch of "Everyday Cards". Thanks for stopping by to look ;-)
